Content Delivery Network (CDN)
Web sites in this industry rely heavily on exchanging reciprocal links with other similar sites - Escort sites, directories, agencies, review sites, etc. Many of these links consist of banner exchanges, a lot of which are displayed on the front (home) page of these sites.
The trouble is a lot of these banner images are hosted on the sites being linked to, and some can be slow to load (or not at all if the linking site is down for any reason).
This slows down the loading of your site as visitors wait for banners to be loaded from remote servers, sometimes thousands of miles away.
To make matters worse, Google and other search engines recently introduced new algorithms to their ranking systems which penalise slow loading sites.
So we've introduced "ADH Core" - Our Content Delivery Network (CDN) to combat this issue.
Simply put, we've downloaded all the remote images that can cause a web site to slow down while loading, and installed them onto our own network of servers spanning the USA, the UK, Europe, the Far East, Asia and Oceana.
Now when a visitor hits one of our sites the images are quickly served from our own CDN, speeding up delivery of the home page - A plus point for both "human" visitors and search engines!
ADH Core has been installed on all the sites we manage since the end of July 2010.
And the best bit? ADH Core is free to use for all our client web sites!
